| 11/11/2010 | other | This is a fine school for someone who doesn't want to continue their education past high school. Anyone who aspires to attend college will be severely disappointed when they get there and realize that Narraguagus hasn't prepared them AT ALL (except for the chemistry/physics courses... the rules for lab reports required for them are almost identical to what you'd expect in college). The school reeks of favoritism, especially geared toward students who have parents in the administration. The majority of the teachers went to VERY low tiered colleges and have barely left the DownEast Maine bubble. I was fortunate to attend a top 30 private college, mostly due to my own work ethic. Anyone who thinks that this is a "fine institution" is SEVERELY ignorant about how the rest of the world operates. |
| 6/27/2009 | other | I graduated from here a few years back and what a joke! I was in the top of my class and colleges will laugh when they find out you went here. Horrible programs, an area that thinks education is for 'city folk', and a complete lack of AP programs or even interesting 'non-basics' classes. |
| 6/11/2007 | student | As a student of Narraguagus High I am very proud. I am very aware of how other schools are and this is by far the best school I have ever been in. I find myself looking back everyday and wondering about how badly I would have turned out in any other situation. This school has many helpful teachers that will talk anything out with you. I for one am very proud to call myself a soon-to-be Narraguagus High graduate. |
| 2/15/2007 | former student | I'm not a parent, but I still think that Narraguagus was a bad school...Academic excellence...My brother and I hated it there, we were not challenged and the social structure just all around was below par...The Special Ed department was also not up to par...Extra Curriculars were below par as well. I'm amazed that this school has such high ratings. |
| 5/12/2005 | student | This school is geared toward acedemic excellence and leadership! Small class sizes and a great atmosphere make it a great place to learn! |
