| 11/28/2011 | parent | I am very surprised at the attention to children these teachers give! They are very open with parents about problems as positive feedback. Teachers are very qualified as well as friendly and open with all!. My child has excelled here and teachers have been quick to let me know of his strives as well as any areas we may need to work on. They have also given me ideas on ways to help develop some of his skills! Great S! |
| 11/3/2009 | parent | They take pride in teaching not just giving information and pass our students unto the next grade. |
| 2/3/2009 | parent | Holly Hall has a sneaky way of doing things and by far I feel to be consider a good school you need to have open commucation with parents and students. |
| 2/17/2008 | parent | My daughter is a student at Holly Hall. She has been there since pre-K. We have had a great working relationship with all of her teachers, and felt at ease discussing any issues that arose. She excells academically, reading above her grade level, and consistantly earns A's and B's on her report card. |
| 11/28/2007 | parent | The communication with parents is great. The special funding received from the state allows for things like their new computer lab. Classroom size is still relatively small, and is further broken out into groups for more concentrated learning. My son is progressing impressivley well as a student there, and is already scoring a 69% on the pre-test for his next years schooling after only one quarter. |
| 11/27/2007 | parent | The curriculum is fairly weak. The use of 'stretch spelling' and lack of phonics emphasis leaves students behind from the start. Students are given way to much free time in the lower grades with little emphasis on the purpose of being there, i.e. learning. |
| 6/24/2007 | parent | My 2 children attend this school and have for the past 4 years. The school provides no challenge programs for gifted and talented students and they end up bored. Teachers do not communicate issues or concerns, you have to hear about them from others and contact the school. Administrator is not consistent with discpline amongst everyone and untimely in actions. Not sure why they even have a guidance counselor. Many of the teachers are young and not experienced in dealing with other kids in the classroom with behavior issues as everyone is integrated. |
| 10/26/2005 | parent | I went to this school from k-5 grade, now my daughter is attending her 3rd year here. This is a great school, teachers are very helpful and the other staff is awesome. Next year my youngest will start pre-k here, I am happy this school is still kept the good name and great education experience. |
| 9/8/2005 | former student | I am a former Holly Hall student and I am now in the 10th grade...this school has good discipline and the teachers are very friendly to the students and to each other...this school would have to be the best! |
