| 1/7/2012 | parent | So far, so Great! This is our first year at OLPH with two older students. We transferred to OLPH without much knowledge of the school after our children's prior Catholic School closed with little warning due to low enrollment. Have to say, we loved our previous school, and we were very involved in daily affairs. We are very pleased how OLPH welcomed our Family to not only their school, but to their Community. We have been so pleased with our, not as planned transition, and are very happy we made this choice. Everyone has made us feel, and made a point, to make us feel most welcome, and everyone from the pastor, teachers, parents, and community, have made us feel we have been there for years. Our children transferred oh, so well, made friends from the start, better then expected. Thank you all for such a smooth transition in so many ways! This school is making great strides, there is a new principal with many high accreditiations, and thus far we have been veyy pleased with the changes, she has made. More to come... |
| 1/11/2011 | parent | My two children attended OLPH School from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. They have now moved on to High School and are doing very well. OLPH prepared them in all of the areas they needed to succeed. Their Math, Creative Writing, Technology and Public Speaking skills were built at OLPH and have proven to be key in their high school careers. I believe OLPH prepared them well and I highly recommend the school for anyone who wants a strong education and a deep Christian/Catholic foundation. |
| 3/16/2010 | parent | We feel like we are part of an extended family at OLPH School! Our three children are very happy there and the teachers really know each of them as individuals and have found ways to highlight and nurture each of their special strengths and talents. If you are considering this school, I highly recommend this school and suggest you have your child come in for a shadow day to find out if it is a good fit. |
| 9/9/2009 | parent | After an incredibly dissapointing and difficult experience at another Catholic school I found myself searching for a school to move my two children to. Mrs. Malloy graciously not only accepted my middle school son as a transfer but made room for my kindergartener. My oldest is so happy (as is my youngest) with the switch he asked why I made him go to the other school for so long! The teachers here really care about the success of their students and the administration is involved with each student individually. Just a wonderful school and wonderful atmosphere for your children to be in! |
| 4/8/2009 | parent | I have two daughters that attend OLPH and I can attest without hesitation that OLPH is meeting all of their academic and spiritual needs. The teachers and Principal(s) are excellent and have been open to questions and concerns that I have had over the years. My oldest had a rough start to 4th grade and I was extremely impressed with the concern shown by all her instructors as well as the solutions brought forth to benefit her. She is doing great now and that is due in much part to all of her teachers and guidance counselors. The Pastor is young and energetic and is highly visible at the school as well. If you are looking for a school that really cares about it's students while showing them how to live their faith and be good people, then OLPH is the place for your children. |
| 3/26/2007 | parent | OLPH is a great place for children to learn and grow. We have seen 2 children graduate and go forth with great academic preparation to competitive high schools. The teachers are truly dedicated to seeing the children succeed. As far as the academic programs are concerned, the technology integration into the curriculum exceeds many other schools in the area. Computers are available in most every classroom an teachers utilize them as tools. One weakness we saw was in the Middle School English program but, these problems have since been resolved and new faculty have resumed positions for this subject area. Overall this was the best choice for our family and we will always credit our children's success to the skills and values they learned at OLPH |
| 5/15/2004 | parent | My daughter is just finishing the second grade at this school. We are all happy that we selected OLPH. The teachers are wonderful, the Pastor is very involved with the school. It is a caring environment. The children are doing well with test scores. The emphasis on God is excellent, they pray and live the Christian way. I wouldn't want to send my child anywhere else. |
