| 8/17/2012 | teacher | The teachers here pursue professional development like no other school, and we are constantly reading the latest research. The teachers at VFES are committed to providing the best education to all students. The school's reading program centers on metacognition, or thinking while you read. This approach is essential to reading comprehension and it makes reading so enjoyable! I love working at this school with all of the technology and support from administration. We truly have a shared mission of developing strong readers, but more importantly, thinkers. |
| 8/12/2012 | parent | this is a new school with new technology however they are more concerned about the look then the kids >>>HATE HATE this school im trying to move so my kids can go back to there old school :(((((((( |
| 3/15/2011 | parent | Vincent Farm is an excellent school!! The prinicipal is running a tight ship and it shows. She hand picked some of the best teachers in the state to work at this school. In addition, the technology is amazing. Every classroom offers high tech learning aids including electronic "chalkboards" and ample laptops for the students. We have been very impressed with all aspects of this school! |
| 9/28/2010 | parent | VFES is the newest elementary school in Baltimore County -- they are in their third year. My daughter has been doing extremely well, she is reading above her second grade level and has been placed in a math class that challenges her. Overall I have been very happy with the teachers and administration. |
| 8/27/2010 | parent | Both of my kids attended this school since its opened, its an awesome school with great teachers, principal and Assistant Principal. My kids love this school. |
| 8/11/2010 | parent | My son has been attending this school since it opened 2 years ago. I was very concerned about him leaving a nearby elementary school that I was very familiar with and liked when my older child went there. I have to say that just a few months into my first year I realized that I had made the best decision by allowing him to go to VFE. The principal, vice principal, teachers and administrative staff are awesome. My son completed his 2nd grade year and I have no complaints. He has learned a tremendous amount. The teachers are caring and committed to teaching and keeping the kids enthusiastic about learning. The technology is like no other in the state. My son has become extremely fluent in computers since starting school. We are looking forward to the upcoming school year. |
