| 8/14/2012 | parent | Pre-school through 8 grade with before school and after school care. We love this small close knit Catholic school. It has a focus on God & Jesus with a strong academic core. Our kids got into all five high schools they applied to including Xaverian, BC, Archies, Cardinal Spellman and CM out of St. Bridget's. They placed well on the catholic placement tests. This school prepares them well for high school. I like how the teachers and principal keep trying to make the curriculum better. They have Spanish, Art and chorus to round the kids out. Most of the teachers seem to really enjoy their jobs and work hard there. Like all schools they do have fund raisers which aren't fun but is necessary. I just wish it didn't cost so much but you get what you pay for. |
| 4/21/2010 | teacher | Thes amll enviornment is a plus, also the Catholic values that are exhibited by teachers and students. Up to date computer lab, and great new technologies accessible to classrooms. There is a music class, though focused only on chior, and no instrumental lessons. Latin is a course requirment in grades 7 and 8. |
| 7/7/2008 | parent | The small school environment was a plus for our family. However, the lack of art, music and language programs is a concern. Gym is done in the yard or in the parish hall therefore no real equipment for growth. Increased enrollment should be monitored so that class size is not compromised Expensive extras need to be budgeted for such as the fundraising 'calendar' which cost $500 to a family if they can not sell tickets. |
