| 12/27/2011 | parent | Great neighborhood elementary school - only one in Northampton that has made adequate yearly progress. Lots of dedicated parents and great after-school enrichment programs. |
| 12/26/2011 | parent | Leeds Elementary school has an excellent curriculum, administered by fine teachers. In particular, the Writer's Workshop program is worthy of praise, as it progresses from Kindergarten to 5th grade; and builds on skill by utilizing a variety of writing techniques. Additionally the after-school enrichment programs and the very-active and highly-successful PTO round out this school's community appeal. |
| 10/13/2008 | parent | This is a strong school overall. There is a core group of parents who are very involved and do a great deal to raise funds for special activities, afterschool enrichment, before and after school child care, field trips, and many other resources. Teachers are experienced, committed, and caring. The school could improve communications infrastructure - there is no voicemail service for times when the line is busy or the school is closed, e-mail is not usually an option for communicate with teachers or staff, and the website needs updating. |
