| 10/6/2010 | parent | Perkins? Really? With all the qualified educational pool out there to pick from and they pick Perkins? It's extremely sad when you have so many high acheiving students in that high school just cringing when they found out that they would have to deal with him again. Thank God for school of choice! |
| 9/18/2006 | parent | My son has went to Waverly since second grade and I am very pleased with the education he has received there. The teachers are excellent and I believe that the entire school district is helpful and patient with children. |

| 9/3/2004 | parent | Waverly High School teachers have been highly supportive of our daughter in both academics and sports. She recently received help from her counselor, who went 'above and beyond' to change her schedule so she could do an independent study during a teacher's plan hour. Most of her teachers have been high-quality and caring. She never mentions poor discipline in her classes. The high school has a good diversity in its students, and groups mix and socialize without some of the dangerous polarization I have seen in other high schools. Nor has my daughter been overly influenced by peer pressure in matters of dress, deportment, or choice of lifestyle. Safety is a priority for me and Waverly. Security personnel are present at all major social events and during the day. Waverly's emergency plan is up-to-date and practiced at all levels. Recent renovations enhance the building and playing fields. |
| 3/28/2004 | parent | The school does not take action to stop harassment of students. They brush it off and then when the harassed student fights back they suspend the victim. They just want to get the problem out of their hair rather than deal with it fairly. They can't be bothered. |
