| 11/5/2012 | parent | I had two daughters graduate from Maple Lake, and I was pleased with their opportunities. Being a small school , there are good things and bad things like all smalltown schools, but Maple Lake had lots of opportunities for them. There was a good variety of classes for them, and they both were in sports and other things (band, choir, speech). Both graduated with a semester of college classes completed during their 12th grade year by taking college Spanish, English, Speech, and Math classes at the school. They were also awarded scholarships from the community. That, from a financial standpoint, was HUGE for our family! Lots of kids have left other schools and come to Maple Lake. That, to me, says alot. |
