| 3/17/2011 | teacher | Plymouth Middle School is a caring and warm place for students. The teachers there seek to help all students to learn and excell, and work to make learning fun. Whenever possible, they work to establish warm and caring relationships with all students, and desire to communicate effectively with all parents. |
| 12/14/2010 | parent | Very Happy with the schoola nd glad they offer a variety of classes depending on the student. It has been an adjustment for our 6th grader this year as she has always been in the upper half for her test scores. It is much like HSand College where the kids go to class and are given homework everyday and they need to listen and pay attention of it is there loss. |
| 10/18/2008 | parent | They have great Principal and Teacher. |
| 10/10/2008 | parent | I have a son with ADHD and a daughter who excels anywhere. Both have found Plymouth to be an exceptional environment to learn, make friends and grow as middle schoolers. We are grateful to have a new principal this year. We are also appreciative to staff who have made the school more cohesive and the atmosphere is fun for the students. There are many reward systems put in place for students and they enjoy the recognition programs. I wouldn't hesitate to advise any of my friends to put their children in Plymouth. |
| 6/4/2007 | student | Okay so I am an 8th grader at Plymouth Middle and I would say that it is an 'average' school. Some of the teachers are just awesome and they totally click with just about every student. And some of the teachers really just dont care. I've been at Plymouth for all 3 years of my middle school experience and its been okay. Im not going to lie to you all and say 'Oh yes, I wake up every morning just dying to get to school and get my learn on!' Because no matter how perfect your child is and how amazing their school is, they wont have that attitude all the time. It depends on your child. If you give the teachers respect (no matter if they deserve it or not) you will get respect in return. Lets just say i'm not too bummed that next year I'll be at Armstrong. |
| 4/28/2005 | parent | This was my child's first year at Plymouth, entering as a 7th grader. I found the staff caring and willing to help in the adjustment to a new school. At conferences, not only were academics summarized thoroughly, but also helpful comments regarding my child's social adjustment. This has been a great year for my family. |
| 3/16/2005 | parent | Our child was verbally put down and threatened by staff members at this school. It had gotten to the point where our child was afraid to go to school, so we had to eventually pull our child out and find an alternative. The lack of communication between staff members is unbelievable. We were told on many occasions by teachers and principals, that 'They just did not have time for our child'. If your child has any type emotional problems or requires additional help from staff, this school does not have the means to accommodate. |
| 9/14/2004 | parent | This was not an enjoyable school for my child. From the poor involvement of teachers, discipline and principal stating ' I will believe the teachers over the kids', just blew me away. |
