| 11/3/2012 | parent | The former principal had the children's best interests at heart. I have no idea why the school would change something that was so positive for what is there now. I have seen the cohesive teaching staff fragmented into cliques of those who are favorites and those who aren't. The stress is evident in how my children are treated and the behavior of those teachers who are not in the favorite category. CHANGE IT BACK. |
| 8/27/2011 | parent | Wonderful school the teachers are amazing!! My son went there and he is now at the Junior high and he excels. My daughter is there right now and loves it and so do I. very polite children, almost all of the children that attend come from stable homes. The principle is great h knows my child's name and enjoys talking with the students. The school has great after school fundraisers my daughter always looks forward to them, parents are very involved so the fundraisers are very nice. A lot of very nice technology, the school is very updated. We debated on sending our kids to private school but realized that this school was nicer than the private school. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE |
| 12/1/2008 | parent | I have one child at this school and she has really excelled. The teachers create a warm and caring environment and I think it really carries over to the student body. The leadership at this school is outstanding. They have been able to adapt to the needs of the community and provide an excellent education. My only complaints are with the overall school size and the art program. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school to anyone. |
| 10/28/2008 | parent | I have had 2 children in Rutherford - one is now in 8th grade. This is a large school but a real effort is made to create a sense of community. I like the multi-age classrooms, as it provides additional learning opportunities (both social and academic). Use of Technology is emphasized and adds a nice component to an already strong curriculum. This school and learning environment aren't't for everyone, but it works for many and the quality of education is outstanding. |
| 5/22/2008 | parent | This is one of the most well rounded schools in Stillwater! Students are well behaved, well educated and are getting some of the best educators in the state! |
