| 4/30/2010 | parent | I have two children in Sandshore, and one entering next year. Our family loves the learning environment Mr Allen has created, and the dedication of the teaching staff. |

| 6/29/2009 | parent | I have one child that has just completed her time at Sandshore and another that is just getting ready to start. Our experience at Sandshore has been great. The parents are very involved and always ready and willing to participate. My child has loved each of her teachers and our new principal had brought new ideas and energy to the school. |
| 1/19/2008 | parent | Teachers yell alot. New principal is great and brings positive new attitude to the school. Some teachers need to retire for the good of the students. We need a new upbeat positive atmosphere and teach by encouraging our young people. |
| 4/23/2007 | parent | Sandshore is a great school in the long run. All of my children have gone there and they absolutely loved it. Teachers are very friendly, and support by the SHSP (Sandshore Home and School Partnership) really helps with parent support. The Only problem is the principal, which took away great things from the school. For example, the school used to have a special day called Culture Day, in which every class had a different culture, and an outdoor barbeque for lunch. Also taken away were holiday parties in the classrooms. She is retiring after the 06-07 school year after only four years. Anyway, back to the good things. Students love how the school works, and they make an easy transition to Mount Olive Middle School. Great school in a great town. |
| 10/10/2005 | parent | It's ok, but some things aren't that great. They do need to brush up on the principal leadership. The academic programs are great! Music, art gym, and library are all great and required programs during the week. There is a PTA-like organization called the SHSP (Sandshore Home and School Partnership) which really boosts parental envolvment, but it has been given a lot less power and may be taken away due to the principal. |
| 9/1/2004 | former student | I really couldn't complain when I went there except for a few teachers. Most teachers I had weren't the kind that picked favorites. It was in cruddy condition when I went there but they're fixing it up (i.e. getting rid of the playground that automatically gives you splinters even though it was fun because of the risk factor.). And they start prepping you for middle school in the 3rd grade so it's not that bad in the long run. |
| 7/23/2004 | parent | I moved to this town because of the great school system, and Sandshore is my idea of a perfect school! The teachers and principal are very involved and caring. Safety is a major focus-there is even 'valet' service (to open child-locked car doors) for parents dropping off kids in the morning. The parent-teacher organization raises a lot of money and spends it all on the kids. There is just enough diversity (income and ethnic) in the student population to expose kids to the outside world. My kids are happy and healthy attending Sandshore! |
