| 6/22/2012 | student | As the oldest of 6 children who have all gone through Cedar Hill, I can say only positive things about it. They are very focused on the students and the staff is outstanding. When I say the staff, I don't just mean the teachers, I mean the office staff, nurse, and others who support the day to day of the school. Although not a parent yet, I think the that a child's interaction even with others outside of the classroom should be positve giving them a holistically postive experience. I can also say that Cedar Hill school has grown with the needs of their students. There are 13 years betweeen my youngest brother and I which has given me unique perspective in this aspect. Since I have gone to school there, they expanded adding more classrooms, upgraded both of their playgrounds, and added nature walk trails as well as gardens to increase their ability to do outdoor activities with the kids. |

| 1/29/2004 | parent | Cedar Hill is fantastic! It is a warm and inviting place. As a parent, feel like you belong there as soon as you walk in the door. The school has a high standard for excellence. It is unlike any other school in the district. They teach the children more than just the curriculum. They teach the children how to be good citizens, to respect themselves, strive to do their best and to respect others as well. |
| 1/13/2004 | parent | I knew this school was excellent but I never realized how good an experience my children were getting until we moved out of state. The climate when you enter the school is warm and learning focused. That feeling extends from the main office to the classroom. The test scores are good but anybody can teach to the test I am interested in someone who can teach the children Cedar Hill does that and does it well. The one piece of advice I would give to a parent looking for an area to live don't look at the tests- visit the school. |
