| 6/1/2011 | parent | This school has fabulous pluses and some serious minuses. There are some outstanding teachers, and there are some truly terrible teachers. There are other problems too. The school is prevented from being great because the problem areas are not addressed by the tragically weak administration (students, parents, and even the teachers openly ridicule the principals and superintendent) and because there is a significant tendency to "look the other way" if the infraction / weakness is helping kids get into college. Some parents only care about getting the kid into college...whatever it takes. OMG. But if you have a smart, motivated kid, there are opportunities here. |
| 11/13/2008 | other | This school is great, my sister goes here and she's been happy ever since she entered this school. For once she can acctually enjoy school and learn, and what parent wouldn't want that? |
| 5/15/2005 | parent | Very clear direction from school about academic expectations. Principal meets regularly with parents about core issues of concern to the parents and school community. Teachers respond well to his leaadership style. He is porpular with students--knows them by name and attends their games! |
| 4/1/2005 | parent | Bronxville High School has excellent academic programs and parent involvement. Extra academic support is also plentiful. The parents are notified about upcoming activities. I wished the band program was more challenging and popular. |
