My daughter just started pre-k this year and can already say the alphabet, sing Islamic songs, as well as speak new Arabic words we don't use at home. The teacher's are thoughful and caring, breakfast and lunch are fresh. My child is excited to start her day knowing she's going to school here. She is not forced to be veiled at a young age, and the teacher's are understanding of the various conservativeness of the parents. The administrative staff is VERY understanding and not hounding either. Homework is fun, and not difficult but instead allows the child to use what they learned at school to independently complete the task alone at home--or at least this is the case with my daughter. The teacher's first language is Arabic, although one of the focuses in the classroom is an English class. My child comes home with Arabic, English and simple math homework that she enjoys doing and remembers practicing during the day. I am absolutely thrilled she is apart of this school! |

Me as a staff member hate it, and soon wont be apart of it anymore the leaders in this school are discusting they way they treat students and handle situations. The school its self isnt even sanitary honestly speaking. And half of the schools actions they could be sued for, so many illegal things happen in this school and they try to hide it. Horrible school, which disappoints me alot coming from a muslim society. |

You are treated and loved like family there you dont just graduate with a diplomia but also a family that will forever be with you. They are 100% devoted to their students eventhough at times their methods differ from others they always have the students interest at heart. Great school love it |
| 2/6/2010 | student | i am a student in al noor school that is an excellent and very well achieving school. their teachers are hard working and leaving no student behind. no period is over without all students understood the material that has been taught. its prinicpal is very hard working and cares for the safety and achademis levels of his students which are his second children as some might say. i strongly recommend this islamic school to anyone who is looking for an excellent and succcessful future. |

While we pay from $4,000 to $10,000. Still it is a very good school. But, the teachers are not all excelent they do not teach some thing's that come to the ctb. Oh well. |

The teachers discipline for no good reason.I wouldnt reccomend this school at all.I have been in this school for about 4 years and i didnt learn anything at all i missed out on so much . After that, i wen tot a local public school and i learned a lot compared to this school. I graduaded and now im in one of the best schools in brooklyn. They are very strict in behavior it is okay in the arabic learning cycle but other than that-nothing at all. Im no critic but this school better straighten up. |

Science is taught very well in comparision to my Public School up bringing. Improvements are constantly being made inorder to provide academic enrichment. Teachers are very caring. |
