| 2/2/2012 | parent | As a parent of a child who has attended for 4 years and is now in middle school, 5 out of 5 stars Community rating for this school seems absurd. Teachers in the vicinity have disclosed that T Hills is something of a laughing stock within an 80 mi radius. This situation is not new, just becomes more so as time goes on. It's hard to get a failing grade at TH -standards are quite low. But a failing grade is assigned 65%. An extremely low performance can still be 80%. This is the school where a D grade becomes a B. In middle school, students are advanced with their age group, never held back. When the conveyor belt dumps them in high school, they are failed if they do not meet MINIMAL standards. Lots of drop outs and people staying in high school 'till they're 20. The students are frustrated and angry and who can blame them? Nepotism runs deep. For some students, their math teacher's wife is their Spanish teacher, who's father-in-law is in charge of grounds and maintenance. |
| 4/14/2010 | parent | We love the programs (drama), the staff, the building (pool, fitness center and Performing arts center), the food and the fact that the school houses K-12. All our children are in the same complex! |
| 11/24/2008 | parent | The middle school has very dedicated teachers who are always connecting with the students. They offer great opportunities for students to join a multitude of activities. Swim lessons continue in PE classes, a rock climbing wall, fitness center and a low and high elements course keeps kids active and interested. The principal has increased communication with parents and offered opportunities for parents to become involved. Bravo! |
