| 9/6/2007 | parent | I think it deserves a 10 because of the smile on my kids faces when they come home from school. I cant tell you how proud my children are when they come home from school! It is just great! I want to put out a special thanks to all the staff members and teachers who work well with my kids. They are so nice and motivate our children of what they can do best! |
| 3/31/2007 | parent | My daughter has been in the Hilton school district which is great, but recently we purchased a home in the Village Elementary School area. We transferred her and I must say I was very impressed with the kindness that was shown to her by the teacher and students. She received welcome letters from the teacher and students which made her feel very welcomed and accepted. I think the teacher Miss Rusin is a caring and dedicated teacher who cares about her students. My daughter has also made some great new friends. My littlest one starts kindergarten this fall I'm sure she will have a great experience also. |
| 1/11/2007 | parent | I have always homeschooled my children and was nervous about placing them in public school. The school has been wonderful. Everyone has been helpful, supportive and encouraging to me and my children. The school is very much into involving the parents in not only helping out in class but also in being involved in the child's academic and social improvement. The Special Ed. department is extremely helpful and supportive. My son, who has Asperger's, has thrived in the blended classroom. My other son, who has anxiety, has been encouraged a lot by the counselor and his teachers. The school is very involved in each student's 'whole being' and that includes keeping the school 'bully free'. I could not have asked for a better experience. I am so blessed by the Village Elementary School's staff. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. |
| 4/6/2006 | parent | Village Elementary is an excellent school for all students in the K-6 grade level. I have seen a huge improvment in my childs academic level since changing to Village Elementary two years ago. The teachers are great and really care about your children. There is much emphasis on parent involvment in the Hilton Central School District which in turn helps your child succeed even more. There are many, many extracurricular activities available to all students throughout the school season, vactions, and over the summer. I would highly recommend the Hilton Central School District to any parent who is considering moving to Hilton. |
