| 7/10/2011 | parent | This school has the potential to be great! However due to lack of parent participation this school is falling by the wayside. The Principle Mrs. Andrea Belcher is great and always hands on at all school events but there is so much that can be done without parent participation. That goes for time as well as financial contributions. This school lacks funding for basic supplies. Before you assume that the school is failing because of the teachers please keep in mind that the outcome of your childs education starts in the home and if you are not supporting them in school you can only blame yourselves when your childs education has been slighted. And yes my children do attend this school. |
| 8/31/2009 | parent | 3 out of 5, we need more multicultural studies and evens for children. I want my children to keep an open mind to different race, language, and cultures. |
| 2/2/2007 | parent | My child attended ps181 for 5yrs. I also participated on the PTA and other activities. The school has very serious problems when it comes to the treatment of students. We have since moved and my child is receiving a stupendous education from our school in Nassau county. The board of education needs to do surprise visits and investigations, to witness the treatment of the students. Ms. August, the principal, needs to realize what her shortcomings are and try to fix the rising problem at ps181. |
