| 10/1/2012 | parent | My son is in 8th grade and has been a student at St. Ann's since Pre-K. My daughter is a senior in high school. Both have received a great education and are well prepared for high school. The principal, Mr. Vicario, is always looking for was to improve the school and really listens to parents. Overall, I am very satisfied with the education my children have received at St. Ann's. Most importantly, I love the close-knit community of parents, faculty and administration. - P.G. |
| 10/1/2012 | parent | As a former student (class of 1988) and a parent of a recent graduate and a 1st grader, I cannot say enough good things about St. Ann's. We are a close-knit, community-based school. Our kids are well cared for and the education they receive more than prepares them for their futures. I, myself, went so far as to receive 2 Master's degrees which stemmed from my foundation at St. Ann's and my son is now a freshman at Fordham Prep thanks to the education he received at St. Ann's. The teachers' patience with our children often goes unrecognized and unappreciated. I am sorry if anyone has had a bad experience as a student or parent at our school, but I still believe St. Ann's still offers an excellent Catholic elementary education. ---Nicole Levendos (Formato) |
| 7/7/2012 | other | I'm a student there and I can say I like it most of the time they are making improvements they got rid of the worst teacher she is no longer allowed to teach the higher grades and they are improving in the schools books I still think the school Needs more care for their students I've been there 10 years and I have gone through stages of depression from one of the teachers discouraging me. He is still a good teacher just to rough |
| 5/6/2012 | other | I graduated there in 1968. Sister Ellen Mary was the princapal and my teacher was Sister Marie Peter. I still can recite all my my prepositions that I learned in 6th grade from Mrs Smith. Great school. I don't suppose Msgr Firme is still there. |
| 12/6/2011 | other | I love how parents go on sites like these and give poor rates to their child's school and teachers, but don't put their name down so others can see who its from. Just like the bullying commercial goes- if you can't say it to their face, then you shouldn't type it! |
| 10/11/2011 | other | It's amazing that this school is actually still in operation! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Very disorganized and very unprofessional. |
| 10/4/2011 | other | This school needs to close. The kindergarten teacher is horrific. The principal is not genuine and lacks leadership . Poor communication. Very disorganized. Keep hearing horror stories of how parents and students are mistreated. Beware!!! |
| 9/24/2010 | parent | Really impressed with St. Ann's ! Small active community in a very safe neighborhood. My daughter loves this school ! Mr. Vicario the principal is really genuine and is concerned about everything that goes on within the school. Fr. Carroza is well loved and regarded by the community and his daily presence in the school does wonders for the morale of everybody. It is not uncommon to see kids tug at his waist to hug him !!! A+++++ |
| 8/30/2010 | parent | I feel our daughter is getting a really good education at St. Ann's which is our main priority. It is a small school, and if you have any issues they are taken into consideration immediately I have no worries when I drop my daughter off each day. |
