| 6/2/2012 | parent | I totally disagree with the parent who stated that students are not well prepared for college. My daughter graduated from Faith Christian and went on to attend NC State University from which she graduated in 3 1/2 years. While at Faith she took several AP classes and her teachers always challenged her academically. Almost all of her fellow graduates went on to attend 4 year universities (including UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Wilmington, ECU, Liberty, Campbell) and one received a full scholarship to UNC-Charlotte. I would highly recommend this school. |
| 1/14/2009 | parent | FCS has undergone a lot of changes in the last few years. A new gym and Middle School have been added due to extensive growth. The Board of Directors, teachers and administration are totallly dedicated to seeking a quality education (both academically and athletically) for all grade levels. There is high emphasis on prepraing all students for college. Each year, the curriculum is advancing to include more fine arts, AP classes and higher education classes. FCS is a Christian school where students are free to learn and grow without fear and are prepped for college after graduation. The best way to find out about a school is to visit. So, visit a public school and then come to Faith, then decide what is best for your child. |
| 4/27/2007 | parent | The elementary and the high school are two totally different situations. The elementary is grade A. It is a wonderful place to send your children. On the other hand when it comes to the high school, I think that this is a good school except I think that far too much is focused on athletics and not on academics. I feel that the students are not challenged enough and that because of some of the rules, it proves as a disservice. I think that the kids are not as well prepared for college here as they are in a public advanced/honors class situation. |
| 3/25/2005 | student | I am in 7th grade and am taking Latin, chorus, Pre- Algebra and much more that if I was at public school it wouldnt be as fine of quality. The teachers have taught before at other schools and have graduated from fine colleges such as NCState and Piedmont. Many of our seniors have received scholarships to high quality universities and many can choose from any college they like. Faith offers many extra curricular activities such as swimming, tennis basketball, soccer, baseball and soccer for both boys and girls. Please think about sending your child here. it's a great choice. |
