11/3/2011otherThis school just moved into effective status from the state of Ohio!wonderful staff who really care about the students. Now the parents to do their jobs of becoming part of their kids educational lives.
3/15/2007parentThe best school ever........ My children get mass help from the staff and the administration are very involved. I love All the staff here! They are great and will help in every way to get your child on top of things.
2/9/2007former studentOne only has to look at the test performance stats to understand that this school is sub-par. The responsibility for educatinal attainment is not the sole responsibility of the school and its educators, and parent involvement is certainly important. There is some connection between community involvement in education, and the role of all educators and families in that community. The success of Avondale Elementary and its students cannot be expected to improve in any significant sense until all agents participate in the improvement of the entire community.
12/2/2006parentThis is a great school! I will continue to send my kids here until they graduate the 5th grade. I would not even think about sending them anywhere else!
8/21/2006parentI dont believe this school has accomplised the goal to teach the children the basics needed in life.I have a child going in the fifth grade who can barely read and write.Even though i have has numerous conferences they will not listen that he may have problems. He has been tutored for four years and still nothing. There are too many children and most have problems which takes the teachers attention from the students really need the help.Talking to the principal has no effect either.
