| 2/25/2010 | parent | My son got transfered here from a school that I love, but this is what he need for he has a reading disabiltiy. His teacher Ms. Robinson has helped him... |
| 1/29/2009 | other | A grandchild is a precious gift from God and when one hears a child say that enjoy school and don't like it when they cant attend, those qualities make for some good ratings for that school and their staff. Its a tenacious job that teachers, principals and others are task to do in these days and times, I applaud all that considers education the highest priorty. |
| 8/7/2006 | parent | I have a daughter that has been attending Parkmoor since kindergarten. She is now going into the 3rd grade. I think the staff, principal and everyone involved there is wonderful. The school is old with no air but that doesn't stop the kid's from learning. The lesson plans are harder here than other schools so I know kids are getting a good education. There are many activities for the students to participate in as well as keeping the parents involved to. My brother attended there 30+ years ago and I'm looking forward to my two year old to start in a few years! |
| 4/6/2006 | parent | This is a nice neighborhood school where my daughter knows everyone but I am not satisfied. My daughter reports a lot of class time spent on discipline where too many chances are given. Her teacher adores her personality and is grateful for her good behavior and in turn does not notice my daughters deficits or areas of difficulty. Several times I find errors in assignments that she's been awarded 100% on. I know this school is not alone but the standard is so low to achieve anymore. I don't feel like our children in CPS are being prepared to compete in this world with children from private and suburban schools. It saddens me to write this, I am a product of Columbus Public Schools. |
