5/16/2012parentI have been told by several students that their grades had been drastically bumped up in order for the teachers to look better. My experience with this school is not very good, as I personally feel that most of what is portrayed is stictly for show, especially when it somes to the state and national audience. Not to mention, the administration does not know the first thing when it comes to bullying!
4/4/2011otherI attended Olmsted Falls High School just a couple years ago and am now a student at Cleveland State. Although in early years at the school I felt some of the teachers or classes were unreasonable, in my later years there I found relief in having more control of my classes and found teachers I could respect. Undoubtingly, some of the teachers at this school are not tolerable nor are they understanding. It's not in terms of intelligence or discipline, they're simply ignorant and arrogant. Other teachers at this school are inspirational and alone the reason to try to find sense and life in the world. Overall, I'm confident in saying this school has prepared me for my further education and dealing with people. In my last year at Olmsted the students seemed to rebel more than ever and the administration's clueless as to what to do so their discipline is excessive in unnecessary ways. It seemed as though they sought to find problems where there were none and didn't really see or care about what was really going on in most cases.
1/21/2011studentI am a student at Olmsted falls high school I just started here as a freshman and I hate it!! I went to Olmsted falls middle school and I loved it, but I got to the high school and it s the worst! The teachers are awful!! There rude, and there not the nicest teachers that you can meet, when you call the principle he may sound concerned but really they don't care!! The only thing that I like about Olmsted falls is the kids i have made a lot of friends but I hear that the middle school is getting a bad group of kids coming into the high school, this school is not worth it! The test scores might be good, but the teachers and the staff are rude and they just don't care what you are the parents have to say. We moved here for the schools and now we are regurgitating it! don't make the mistake that we made on going to this school!
8/8/2008parent An excellent school with great teachers although over the last few years the discipline has become slack with the new administration.
10/23/2005former studentI graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in recent years and now attend Ohio State University. I feel that it has prepared me better than many other students here. The teacher not only teach you the material, but also show different types of teaching meathods and teach how to study.
