5/14/2012parentI have two children in this school, and have been a Lincoln parent for the past six years. I have always been very impressed by the school--it is small, friendly, and everyone knows my children by name. All teachers have been acceptable, and some have been outstanding. A great elementary school!
10/12/2010parentBoth my children went to this school, and I just think it's the best elementary school. It's been a while, as that was in the 80's, but it's still a great school, and one of the first in Norman.
9/25/2009parentLincoln Elementary has devoted teachers who work overtime, not for money but to do everything they can for the success of their students.
9/19/2009parentThe teachers are wonderful and they really care about their students. The students are fantastic as well!!!!
9/18/2009parentLincoln is more than a school, it is an extension of our family. The staff do not treat our children like numbers, they actually have a relationship with our kids. They not only care about their academic success, but their physical, emotional and social growth as well. Their is so much support at Lincoln from both staff members and parents for whatever issues you may be having. At Lincoln, you are not alone, you actually have a community helping to raise your child.
9/18/2009parentBecause it is a great school with nice teachers!
9/18/2009parentThe staff is kind and helpful and do a wonderful job of making it a comfortable environment for the students and parents.
9/18/2009parentLincoln is small and personalized, with a diverse student body, fantastic teachers, and a caring staff.
9/18/2009teacherOur Lincoln Lions know how to build a strong foundation with tons of space for building blocks!
9/18/2009parentWonderful, caring teacher and staff as well as a neighborhood feel makes this a great place for my kids to learn.
9/18/2009teacherLincoln is an awesome school! It really is a family that works together for success!
9/18/2009parentMy children attended this school, and now one son has moved back into this neighborhood to give his children a school experience similar to his. Lincoln us a small school, where each student is free to develop as an individual student--not just a member of a class. The teachers work diligently to teach what kinds need to know, and to help them grow into citizens we'll be proud to have running this country in the future!
9/18/2009parentAn awesome school to be a part of! We are all proud to be Lincoln Lions!
9/18/2009parentI love the small school and the teachers are great!
9/18/2009parentWhy do you love Lincoln Elementary School? We have a special needs child and it's true what they say, 'it takes an Army to raise a child' and with Lincoln I feel like I have that Army supporting our family and my child! We are proud to be a part of the Lincoln family! Go LIONS!
9/18/2009parentTeachers that care and work hard EVERYDAY to help each student learn.
9/18/2009parentBecause my music teacher from over thirty years ago is still there, teaching my child, now!
9/16/2009parentThey have a great Autism Program for my son with autism, they are always willing and wanting to learn the best ways of teaching our special needs children. I love how the staff is so open & more than willing to accept ALL the children that attend and that our special needs children are welcomed into the mainstream/general education classroom with open and understanding arms.
3/19/2006parentWe love this school...Everything about it! we have three children that go here on a transfer. Two have had to transfer out because there was no room left the past year, but we are trying to get them back in. The teachers, staff, parents, principal..Everyone is super nice and great with the kids. They know all the kids on a personal level and make them feel special. Our children have flourished here. We have two children on iep and they have made remarkable strides, its amazing. The school has a lot of parental involvement, which i feel is very important. Lincoln offers many free after school activities which my kids take advantage of and enjoy. I recommend this school to anyone in norman.
