However, I loved the students. And many members of the faculty were willing to help me out. I really felt like I made a difference among the students, and it was the best feeling. However, when faced with the fact that they do not have any support from the parent/parents and the students bad attitude towards education, their hands are completely tied. |

Any student that is ill-prepared for secondary education or a career can only blame themselves for not taking a more active role in their education! |

The students as well as the teachers have no motivation. I understand that Brownsville is a poor community, but that should be a motivation to get students to grow and achieve more. Most graduates of this high school simply stay there working low wage jobs. I feel that the teachers need be more motivational. I think Brownsville future depends on it. |
