| 7/26/2012 | parent | My children attend Penn Christian Academy and I cannot begin to explain how much this school is so much better than public and other private schools. The education is top notch and children with learning disabilities are treated no different, they actually have a lot of programs to help them. They are also building a brand new science lab out in the courtyard...one side will be glass so the students can learn about the different eco systems. I highly recommend this fantastic Christian school. |
| 4/26/2012 | parent | This school is the BEST private school in Butler County!! I have dealt with the public school system for many years with my oldest son and I wish that I had known about Penn Christian Academy when he was younger. Now my two youngest go there and they love it, the teachers and staff are fantastic and always make me feel at home. Of course the curriculum is harder it's a private school...it will only help them in the future and they don't overdue it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! |
| 3/23/2012 | parent | I am very pleased with the Penn Christian. We spent a lot of time reviewing the local public and private schools and decided Penn Christian was clearly the best. The small class size is wonderful. Love the fact that science lab, music class, library, etc. all start in Kindergarten! This school also is very progressive in working with children with learning issues; very unusual for a private school. Lastly, we have found administration very approachable and appreciate the receptiveness to listening to, and addressing any parent concerns. Couldn't be more happy with the school. |
| 2/10/2012 | other | My grandchildren attend school at Penn Christian Academy. They are thriving academically, socially and spiritually. Their Math and Reading scores are above grade level. The teachers are kind and nurturing and the administration is extremely professional. As a former teacher, I love the school and I tell everyone about it! |
| 2/1/2012 | parent | Our two children have spent the last 3 1/2 years there. My daughter started in second grade and I just removed her from fifth grade. Careful observation starting in the beginning of this schoolyear revealed to us that her class was significantly behind in math and behind also in language arts. My son was in the third grade class at the same time she was in 5th and they were both doing the same work....multiplication and working with verbs! My daughter was in 5th grade..are you kidding me? After a meeting with the curriculum director, it was stated to us that mistakes were made on PCAs end and failed our daughter. The principal never contacted us through this entire ordeal..So we are left trying to get our daughter up to speed. A very big disappointment after 3 plus years. We are among several families that have decided to leave the school in the 2011-2012 school year. |
| 3/28/2010 | parent | Best christian schoo. My children learn so much about the Lord and their educational experience is outstanding. |
| 1/7/2008 | student | It is a very hard curriculm, and it is hard to manage studing, homework, projects, reports, ect. My child is in 5th grade tho and its harder.I do love this school it realy gets your children into christ but you realy have to study to pass. What i think is it all depends on the teacher, but no one can be perfect except christ. |
| 7/12/2007 | parent | The quality of education that my children have received at Penn Christian was awesome. They have added so much to the education of our kids. They have a great computer program. They have a science lab with hands on activities. They are adding a global learning lab where the students are going to be introduced to four different languages within a two year window. Most important they have a great Christian atmosphere at the school. |
