| 11/20/2011 | parent | Teachers and staff do well for what they are given. The school district cut back on spending, so I feel the school day is quite boring. They rarely get to have their recess outside (due to weather), don't even get PE once a week, and are forced to sit in the classroom most of the day. My daughter is in kindergarten and hardly leaves the classroom. YUCK! |
| 9/13/2011 | parent | The administration, teachers and support staff at this school are superb and fortunately that's what it's all about. The PTA is disorganized in comparison to other PTA's I've been associated with. The parents are not friendly and welcoming to newcomers. |
| 3/14/2010 | parent | Chestnut Hill is a wonderful school with a wonderful, caring, and attentive staff. We originally had enrolled our oldest child in private school but had switched him in fourth grade. The transition was smooth and the quality of his education was top notch. Now our second child, who has special needs, attends Chestnut Hill. The faculty has been working diligently with us to ensure his success. We are very pleased. |
| 8/16/2007 | parent | Chestnut Hill is an excellent school with an extremely caring, attentive, and professional faculty and staff. It is a very traditional school that teaches not only the basics but integrates a sense of family, school pride, and kindness into the curriculum. Great Job Chestnut Hill! |
| 6/19/2007 | parent | My daughter went into kindergarten this past school year knowing her sight words and some other easy words and she came out with a 'I' reading level. She has done very well this year and was even writing stories by April/May. She felt like a real author! Chestnut hill has given her the opportunity to go as far as her ability has allowed her. Koodos to C.H.S.!! We love it! |
| 6/2/2006 | parent | This is one of the best school located in the Millcreek Township, specially, the Principal who keep the school in excellent conditions, rules and safety. |
| 6/3/2005 | parent | My son just finished kindergarden this year at Chestnut Hill. He enjoyed going to school every day and loves his teachers. He is an advanced reader, so his teacher gave him more difficult assignments to keep him challenged. I am very comfortable leaving him in the safe and positive environment Chestnut Hill provides, and am pleased with the education my son has recieved. |
