| 6/23/2011 | other | I went To Honey Brook Elementary the year we moved from the old school in town to the new location. I attended many schools growing up, and Honey Brook was definitely my favorite. I never had a negative experience with the Elementary. The teachers and faculty were some of the best and most supportive educators I've experienced. They had a strong connection with the students and their families. The school offers a wide variety of educational programs, which have enriched my life and made for some great memories. The facilities were top notch, beautiful gym, and they playgrounds are Awesome! |
| 5/1/2008 | other | I have worked at Honey Brook for 18 years and I can tell you that you won't find a better class of educators, teaching and caring for your children than right here. From the Principal, to the teachers, to the support staff, your child comes first. It's called 'Twin Valley Pride' and it starts right at the elementary level. I am proud to work for Honey Brook, and hope to keep working for many more years...!!!!!!!!! |
| 3/19/2008 | parent | Three of my children go to this school. I am amazed at how wonderful their teachers have been. They always continue to challenge them in fun and innovative ways! |
| 6/28/2007 | parent | This school is middle of the road because they dont challenge the children enough there grading system is not a great evaluator of their grade level .I dont agree with the amount of homework ,it is to little your children will learn here but only if you the parent push them. They do offer after school care for the working parent and have family fun nights. Their biggest agenda is reading but they dont offer any rewards for it such as the 100 book contest, so whats the incentive to read more . Again middle of the road. |
| 8/21/2006 | parent | My daughter is entering the 3rd grade. She's attended HBEC since Kindergarten. All of her teachers have been exceptional! |
| 10/22/2005 | parent | My child is in Kindergarten, and so far so-so. I am rather upset by the range of abilities in his class~ some kids can read (my child among them) and some do not know their letters. My child is left alone a lot while the teacher plays catch up with the other children. But she is an excellent teacher and my complaints would probably apply to many schools. |
