| 4/10/2010 | parent | Poor planning and poor leadership have given rise to too many children in the early elementary grades. This causes teachers to take much more time on classwork. This is especially true when there is an activity or worksheet since by the time the teacher visits each table to get them started and answer questions, the rest of the class loses focus and begins to talk. This is a distraction to the students trying to work, as well as to the teacher. As a result, the teachers are often frustrated with the noise in the class and with being behind in their lesson plan and sometimes that is expressed to the students in their tone and attitude. Parking and school traffic is also horrible which again shows poor planning and poor leadership for allowing it to continue year after year. |
