6/3/2012parentThis school provides a nurturing environment for students to grow socially, academically and ethically. All students are welcomed into the extracurricular activities, so students who might not get a chance to play sports on a school team have a great opportunity here. The school is truly a community.
7/16/2010parentWe have had our daughters at AJA since kindergarten and we have been thrilled with the school since day one. Our daughters have developed academically, socially, and spiritually beautifully - because of the committment and talents of the faculty and staff at AJA.
5/11/2010parentWe have two kids at AJA. They both look forward to school every day, and love their teachers, friends, the activities, and what they are learning. My kids are young, and I love watching the middle schoolers. They thrive in the academically challenging, safe, nurturing environment, and are doing great academically. Small class sizes, individualized learning plans for each kid, teamwork among teachers, a buddy program for new kindergarteners and older kids, and many other features make this school unique. Get on their website and check out some of their academic achievements!
5/11/2010parentAJA has been an outstanding personal and academic experience for my daughter. It's been more than I expected or could hope for her.
5/3/2010parentAJA is an outstanding academic experience focused on the whole child. Great teachers and amazing curricula = happy kids producing incredible results. I can highly recommend it.
4/14/2010parentAJA is a great school. The academics are great. The Jewish education is phenomenal and the experience is like none other.
3/31/2010parentWe've been here since Kindergarten, and couldn't ask for a better education for our daughter. She is confident, smart and has a strong sense of self. She has placed consistently at PSIA academic competitions, and took a first award the regional science fair this year. She is in 5th grade but is in a 6th grade math program. She is very versed in Hebrew and will be able to pick up other languages readily due to learning a second language at an early age. The Judaic content has further strengthened her sense of identity and sense of wonder and awe. Additionally, these studies have bolstered her understanding of literary analysis and how events in history ripple forward through time. Relationships are forged across grade levels with a buddy system, and a strong parent community provides both friendships and support in times of need.
1/4/2010teacherThis school is a welcoming community. Staff is dedicated and talented and students engage in meaningful learning in both general and Judaic studies.
