| 9/18/2009 | parent | They teach to the test like every other district my children have been in. The children of teachers are given special priviledges and do not have to follow the rules like other students. Who you know and are related to makes a difference also. The needs of gifted students are not met. Parent involvment is not encouraged by setting events at school so early parents that work must take time off or not be able to attend. |
| 5/19/2009 | parent | We have been very happy with Cooper West. We have three children at the school and they all are thriving. |
| 10/20/2003 | parent | I went to school in Illinois and it was ok, but the teachers their really didn t want to help that much they just wanted to ship you right off to a tutor outside of school, and here at cooper elem. if my son has trouble with anything the teachers have been very helpful and try to help him any way they can, and I think Mrs. Pickle and Mrs. Slackly are doing a wonderful job! They make the assemblies fun for the kids and the adults, they are a great team and I am glad we moved here so my kids can get a good education, Kim Crawford. |
