Mildred students and faculty impress me most with their support for each other and the pride they exhibit in their school and organizations. | 6/17/2004 | student | Mildred Elementary School is average for a public school. The elementary prinicipal is very uncaring for certain students and dwells upon others, particularly those that have parents who work at the school. In many ways the elementary section is unfair and needs improvement. The building is extremely small, housing the elementary, junior high, and high school sections separated by a set of glass doors. It is tight. In the elementary, 75 percent of the lockers are unused and we must be stuffed into small, uncomfortable desks with little room to store books and supplies. The school is in fact so small that there is absolutely no more room on the property that is not covered by portable buildings. The band hall is a portable! And just last year we finally got a band. As a student here, I would recommend Mildred but I will have to warn you--be ready. |

If you are not rich or your family didn't grow up in the community then do not go to this school. It is not any better than any other school around here. |
