| 3/15/2009 | parent | I now have my second child enrolled at Frost, and my third will attend this school next year. My first child is now at McCoy in Fifth grade and has been an A student in the Gifted and Talented program since the First grade. I believe that a good foundation is important for a child, not only for his future but for the love of learning. My son has not missed a day of school yet and has a great passion for learning and Frost gave him an execellent start. Now my second child has been accepted into the gifted and talented program and will begin it also in the first grade. I am extremly happy to say my children has or is attending school at Frost. My third child asks my everyday 'Is today my first day at Frost'. |
| 5/17/2006 | parent | The parent and admin cooperation is like none I have seen before. Your child will thrive with in their walls. The extra programs are interactive and well organized. The PTA and volunteer network is organized and well informed. There isn't much you can't help with if you just ask. |
| 7/29/2005 | parent | This is a great school. They introduced a new program last year called scholar behavior. The scholars learned not only conduct but also expanded their vocabulary. They had icons all over the school too remind them of their promise to be scholars. They also had to sign a 'contract' to give them a sense of responabilty to be scholarly. The teachers are great, the school is beautifully painted, four stars for me. |
| 1/27/2005 | parent | frost is a older building thats outdated and the classrooms are full. They had to add several classrooms at the last minute to accomodate the new comers. The teachers at each grade level have one aid they share between them all, and she also over sees other priorities for the school. So the parents have to be helpful and aid in the classroom to help with activities. There school also has no place to accomodate people on days of special events like; productions put on by the kids, so all gatherings must take place in the gynasium or lunch room which is over crowded and inadiquiate to handle large functions, you cant see your children while standing in a crowd. over-all the school has high standards, and great teachers with fair experience, however, the school is over crowded and understaffed. I dont reccomend if your basing your move on schools. |
