Havana, TX is a small town located in Potter County near Amarillo. It has an excellent public school system, with all three schools receiving high ratings from the Texas Education Agency. The primary school, Havana Elementary, is rated as “Exemplary” and serves students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. The middle school, Havana Middle School, is also rated as “Exemplary” and serves students in sixth through eighth grade. The high school, Palo Duro High School, is rated “Recognized” and provides educational opportunities for ninth through twelfth graders.
