| 11/16/2011 | parent | My daughter is in her 3rd year at Lamar Elementary and so far we have been very pleased with all aspects of this school. Her kindergarten teacher (Ms Parker) has been teaching there for many years and still has such loving enthusiasm about her position and in meeting the needs of the children. Her 1st grade teacher (Ms Neubauer) was a first year teacher and we could not have asked for a better experiance with her. Now she has Ms Nelson who is both fun-loving and challenging in the classroom. All of the teachers there seem to be very happy which leads me to believe that they are managed by inspirational Administration. The playgrounds are some of the best in town because of the wonderful mature trees! Each year I have met several other wonderful parents of my daughters classmates which makes the school feel very community/family orientated. Look forward to my son starting kindergarten there next year! |
| 7/28/2009 | parent | My son went to pre k with ms.Cantu she was the best he learned so much in such a short time and she really seemed to enjoy the kids and i know my son loved her. It is always important at the beging of their school experince that the enjoy going and that is just how my son was thanks to ms. Cantu and her aid. |
| 5/29/2007 | parent | My son just completed kindergarten and I could not have been more thrilled with the level of education he has received at this school. Fantastic! All teachers he had come in contact with were outstanding. |
| 9/18/2006 | parent | Lamar Primary seems like an ok school. What is a little disappointing is that there is no student aide helping the teacher in a class of 20 or more which I think would be helpful. The playground is really crowded and hard to play at recess time. I think my son is learning and does enjoy his teacher. |
| 6/26/2005 | parent | My son attended Lamary Primary and I was very pleased with the level of education that he recived. His teacher was great and was very informative to me as a parent about my son's level of prgress throughtout the year. |
