| 12/12/2008 | parent | this is the worst school in odessa. They do not have many functions to involve parents, the teachers rely on tattletails to give out a lot of referrals, and the faculty is extremely rude. To top it all off, their student pickup area is extremely unsafe. |
| 8/23/2008 | parent | Murry Fly is a school that has a very diverse population of students and teachers. There are a few discipline issues that could be handled better but overall, I think the teachers know how to inspire their studnets. I know my son is looking forward to the fifth grade, due in large to the support he acquired in the fourht grade. He fell in love with the two teachers he had last year and cannot wait to go start back on Monday. Mrs. White and Ms. Crane are two of the most determined and creative teachers I have ever seen! They are strict, but in a loving and respectful way that makes the kids want to not only listen, but also perform at their very best on a regular basis! Keep up the great work Murry Fly and fourth grade! |
| 11/28/2007 | parent | I like the school, my child likes the school and her teacher. The teacher has great communication with me and makes sure we are up to speed on all that is going on in her class with our daughter. I do think maybe they lack in special things like after school tutoring which I would like |
| 4/14/2005 | parent | The quality of academic programs is evident with the teacher dedication to the students. My child enjoys the music and computer programs available to her. The school makes me feel welcome as a parent! |
| 3/9/2004 | parent | Murray Fly Elementary is overall a good school. The principal is the brightest spot in the whole staff. P.E. is very unstructured and is more of a nuisance than an activity. Fourth grade is a grade that would better be skipped than attended. Getting the parents to volunteer is like pullng teeth. The morning assembly is more and more getting to be the quiet game. |
