| 7/16/2007 | student | I love RJH. I hav only gone for one year and i already love it and i and getting better grades in every class. I love it. |
| 1/31/2007 | parent | If you expect your child to understand basic conversation in a second language, grasp the rudiments of inorganic chemistry, or actually meet the same standards in math that the 'best schools in TX' actually attain, you will be disappointed - RJH has never ranked as one of the best schools in TX due to limited focus on improving their academic programs. The comment below regarding no AP/IB coursework is accurate: Students are not being adequately prepared. |
| 1/18/2007 | parent | I have considerable concern about RJH in several regards as it relates to adequate preparation in the sciences and math. It is evident that RJH is not adequately preparing students for high school or ensuring they are on path to college. |
| 1/3/2007 | parent | I so badly want to read the report that states RJH is one of the best schools in Texas. TAKS scores are simply a gauge to determine if a child understands the basics and if he/she should progress to the next grade. SAT scores are far more useful determining preparation for higher education and if the child needs (costly) remedial courses to plug any holes. Are the children at RJH taking recognized AP/IP course work? Foreign languages? Advanced math or chemistry? Is this reflected in the RHS SATs? |
| 12/31/2006 | parent | All 3 of my children has or are currently attending Robinson Junior High and I can say that the administration has always been very helpful and teachers are great. Things changed for the better 4 years ago when the new principal stepped in. The staff is very supportive, TAKS score are going up every year and RJH was recognized as being 'one of the best schools' in Texas for it's academic achievement. |
| 8/8/2005 | student | The teachers have fun ways of teaching the students like where they don't even know they are getting taught. |
