Just because this is a small inner-city school, they do not cut corners on the education that is provided to the students. I am very grateful for the dedication that the staff provides for the kids. It amazes me that a child that has never played an instrument can progress so quickly. I, for one, am truly grateful for the Mariachi program and all the other programs at the school. For anyone wondering what this school is like, please know that your child will be learning in an environment that allows them to expose their creative side as well. My child is a transfer student this year, and so far, she looks forward to attending school. I, by far, am glad that we switched her to this stimulating learning environment. |

If your child enjoys the arts and a small school environment, this is the place. It's inner city location offers nearby resources and field trips as well as true San Antonio culture. The faculty are a family that truly care about the children. They strive for TEA exemplary status with lots of tutoring and individual attention while daring to emphasize the fine arts. Step by step they are gaining recognition around the city as being something different... something beyond the norm. With plans to serve PK - 8th, I'm looking forward to my daughter having a safe and loving as well as educational 8 more years. |
