| 8/24/2011 | parent | I have 2 children that have been going to canyon ridge...my wife is a former teacher and now a stay at home mom...this school is one of the best elementary schools that you could get your kids into..I was kind of hesitant about public schools here....I don't believe you could find a private school here that has such passion, ethics and love for the children in this country. |
| 1/27/2010 | parent | Wonderful school, awesome leadership, innovative teachers. The best! |
| 1/27/2010 | parent | Wonderful school. All of the staff are great. The school is immaculate. Both of my children attend and they just love it. Keep up the good work. |
| 1/17/2010 | parent | Canyon Ridge is an amazing school. The teachers and office staff are all very kind and understanding. We absolutely adore Ms. Schulle who is a 2nd grade teacher. We are moving out of state and are sad to have to pull our daughter out of her class. The school is always immaculate and the teachers and staff are absolutely meticulous about the students' safety; you can't just waltz in without getting your name badge or being asked where you are headed. To me, that is probably the most important thing. |
| 8/10/2009 | parent | great school and excellent teachers and staff.overall best school i have ever seen |
| 3/25/2009 | parent | I feel sorry for any child that has to attend this school. My son hated school. He attended there one year and none of my children will go there. |
| 9/26/2008 | parent | Coming from Ca, I can't help but to compare NEISD with LAUSD. My experience has been wonderful here at Canyon Ridge with friendly office staff and dedicated teachers. My daughter made a smooth transition from her previous school and she now LOVES Canyon Ridge. I love the transportation system here and my daughter enjoys riding the bus everyday. Thank you Canyon Ridge Elementary School for making a positive difference in our lives... |
| 9/16/2008 | parent | Canyon Ridge has met and exceeded all expectations! My wife and I love this school, as do my kids. We're impressed with the organization, facilities, teachers, and parental involvement. I wouldn't want my kids anywhere else. |
| 8/14/2008 | parent | When my son was in an accident the students, parents and staff were tremendous. They raised money, they gave my son hope and love, and they also had him in their prayers. This is the best school out there! My son learned a great deal from his teacher and she was very supportive . |
| 5/27/2008 | parent | I don't think that the 'at risk students' needs are addressed. Average students do great and the teachers are very nice. With the No Child Left Behind ruling there should be more intervention and school accountability. |
| 1/3/2008 | parent | We moved from Baltimore, MD last year. I can not fine one thing to complain about this school. Everybody is very involved and can feel they want what is best for each child. My child has special needs and they really listened to our wishes and goals for our daughter. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone regardless of the abilities. |
| 8/12/2006 | parent | Canyon Ridge is a very large elementary school with over 1,000 students (K-5). While the campus can be a bit intimidating for new students and parents alike, the staff and facilities are wonderful. Our daughter transferred to Canyon Ridge from Fairfax County Schools (Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area) which are rated among the best public schools in the nation. In our opinion both the facilities and staff at Canyon Ridge are superior. We were especially impressed by our daughter s 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Rebecca Marty , who has a genuine love for both teaching and her students. |
| 7/25/2006 | parent | The first year was great in all areas . What we need to improve is the organization and cleaning of classrooms and the lidership and knowlege of all teachers. I love Canyon Ridge! |
| 1/10/2006 | parent | We recently moved here from Maryland to Texas. I can not begin to tell you what a difference Canyon Ridge and the NEISD has made in my family's life. The teachers treat the children with the utmost respect and treat them like actual people. They make the kids as well as the parents feel important. Moving to the NEISD was the best decision we have ever made. |
