| 9/19/2012 | parent | Sadly the school administration is HORRIBLE, this is our child second year there and things went from bad to worse, the school needs a strong principal who will take charge and change things around. Teachers use scare tact's with the kids. A lot of the staff think they can do whatever they want and when they r in a good mood they are nice but if they don't feel like it, they are very rude. The school nurse has a poor judgment or not enough education to know when a kid is having a real emergency. To this people we trust or kids everyday. I have talked to several parents and they are having similar issues, so I say lets get together and do something to protect our kids. The administration will always give us lip talk, and nothing will change if US the parents stay quiet and don't do anything about it. That is my very personal opinion. |
| 10/11/2009 | parent | Thank you for giving my granddaughter the opportunity to attend pre-k. I see her acquiring self-control and social skills necessary for her future success. |
| 10/22/2008 | parent | This school is a mess, due to horrible administration by the Principal. Their discipline policies are completely backwards, with the bad kids being rewarded and the good kids treated horribly or just ignored. |
| 1/15/2008 | other | I was a student at this school in 1989 and have nothing but fond memories of the school. I was a school Crossing Guard and just remember the encouragement I received from the teachers when I was 'on duty'. I had a very positive experience here and remember my teachers Mrs. Wienecke, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Mills and Mr. Molinar very well, even though I am now 26! What an impact! |
| 3/8/2006 | parent | My son went to this school for 3 years and he got along very well there. I always enjoyed the atmosphere, it was tight knit and everyone seemed to know each other. The parents have a lot of involvement. |
| 12/28/2005 | parent | I have been disappointed in this school. Despite my request the teacher is slow to send information home and I am not kept current on events or things going on in the classroom. My personal opinion is the Kindergarten and First Grade need to have Paraprofessionals and Teachers Assistants in each classroom. This frees up the teachers from doing administrative work and enables more individual time with the children. Kindergarten and First Grade are the foundations for which education is built on. I don t understand why the schools in this district are not funded well enough to provide the services needed. |
| 3/17/2005 | parent | Fantastic Administration and Hardworking Teachers. We have 3 children who attend OHT and they are doing wonderfully and love going to school! I don't think we could get a much better quality education for our children with a private school. I highly reccommend this school! |
