| 9/14/2011 | parent | I wish I could give UMS 6 stars! This school has a wonderful, nurturing staff who truly care about the kids and put them in positions to succeed. We were sad when our oldest child graduated from 2nd grade that we would miss the teachers and staff until our younger child started Kindergarten. We needn't have worried. Because they are live in the community or nearby, we often run into them when out shopping, etc. In my admittedly biased opinion, there isn't a better school in the state. |
| 6/13/2011 | parent | My daughters thrived at this school. Wonderful, caring staff who nurtured them along each step of the educational process. Can't wait until my younger two attend. Our experience at UMS far exceeded our expectations> This school is a model of what all VT elementary schools should aspire to be!!!! |
| 5/5/2010 | parent | The teachers are wonderful...there are so many events for the family to participate, and there are many involved parents. There is just a real sense of community. I love the reading program. My four year old daughter has come in with me to read in her brother's classroom and now can't wait to start Kindergarten! |
| 5/5/2008 | parent | It is a fabulous school!! My son goes this school and, with great help from his teachers he has developed great skills in all area, reading, writing, arts, PE, music... The librarians are also of great help. Highly recommended to those who relocate to this area. |
| 7/5/2006 | parent | My daughter attended Kindergarten at this wonderful school. Attentive and involved teachers, excellent administation =a very well-balanced educational experience. Learning in the classroom went beyond merely memorizing. The sense of community and parental involvement in this school was amazing. |
