| 5/12/2010 | teacher | Great school. Lucky to have the things it has. Beautiful and clean facility and way better than any of the surrounding high schools in the Burlington area. Awesome arts, sports, and climate. |
| 5/7/2009 | student | harwood is a great school we definatly have the some of the best D2 sports teams in the entire state proven by boys hockey, track and feild, basketball, and numerous other sports. but as stated earlier the athletic facilities need serious improvement and the building could be updated. the upsides of Harwood lie in its school spirit, determination, and involvment of students and parents to create a better learning enviroment. |
| 5/2/2009 | parent | 4 AP classes is not even close to adequate - I have researched other schools in Vermont and schools in other states - Stowe offers 9, CVU offers 10. Several in South Carolina offer 20. I do know what is offered and I have even spoken with the principal to see if Latin and French could be added and I was told the declining enrolment and budget restraints made this unlikely. I guess my priority is a little different as I am not overly concerned with better sports facilities when the children in this school are not challenged intellectually but this in ony an opinion |
| 11/9/2008 | student | HU is a good school, with good teachers and good selection of courses. As to the parent below, there are AP Courses available in History, Physics, English, and math, so you dont really know what your talking about. There are also honors level classes available in nearly every subject, so either your unfamiliar with the courses, or your student has not told you everything. The only thing the school needs improvement on is its athletic facilities, with 4 state champion teams in 07-2008, and a couple Runner Up's we need better facilities than those that have not been updated since the 70's. |
| 11/18/2004 | student | I go to this school. The teachers are good and the P.E program is excellent but overall this school needs serious improvement. |
