| 10/21/2010 | student | Edison High School is a fantastic IB school. The school is being renovated so there is a new look to Edison and what seens like an increase in pride. there are so many programs Edison offers after school and academic, things like the Writing Center where students can go to get help on things like there essays during lunch, and also Eagle Time were students can get help in classes they have trouble in,which is held on a certain day during the week which helps students who can't stay after school. There is so much Edison has to offer to its students and it shows with the schools progress. Go Eagles!! |
| 4/21/2010 | parent | This school has a great International Bachelor's program to guide children straight into the Bachelor's program of their choice. |
| 2/16/2010 | parent | Edison is a pretty good school. The student body and faculty are very diverse. My children are Class of 2007 and Class of 2012 -- we've been at Edison for awhile! The IB program is rigorous and students are encouraged to enroll in the IB courses they will be successful in even if they do not pursue the full IB diploma. There are plenty of activities and various sports teams. Students should easily find a positive peer group to fit in with. Mr Croghan rules! Go Eagles!! |
| 9/16/2009 | parent | Edison High School offers the full International Baccalaurate program, which is the most advanced high school diploma in the US and is as well qualifying students to study in Europe. At Edison you will find a great variety of IB classes ,which allow students to be much better prepared for college or studies abroad. The IB teachers have to participate in a special training in order to qualify for the program:better teacher education equals better student success .At the student services you'll find exceptional counselors helping parents and students to understand and participate in the IB program. I am grateful for the support Edison has given to my children .I know they will be able to create their life just as they dreamed of. |
| 1/13/2007 | parent | Edison provides strong academics and is a warm, welcoming community. My son is challenged yet well supported. He is thriving, and, bottom line, is happy. You have no idea how lucky you are to be at Edison. |
| 9/26/2006 | student | Edison is by far the worst school i've been to so far in all of the 3 high schools i've been to. I'm class of 2008 and i sure hope i move soon! |
| 6/12/2006 | former student | i would like to say that as a student of the class of 2006 that Edison has helped me out alot... I am going to be a student in the fall attending NYU, on a schlorship and athletics ..I am proud of thier accomplishments and hope that the decisons made for this school work for the best.Go Eagles! |
| 11/22/2005 | student | Edison is a fantastic school. I am a memeber of the class of 2007 there is so much you can do outside of the classroom. The teachers are very friendly and most students are able to confide with many of there teachers. Edison teachers take there jobs very serious and they find that success is mandatory and failure is not optional. Edison is just a great palce to get a great learning experience and I would recommend this school to anyone |
| 5/25/2005 | staff | Edison does a good job, especially working with a community that has many low-income residents and many for whom English is a second language. It's college-prep classes (IB) are excellent and it's a very diverse school. |
| 4/12/2005 | student | I wont say in detail for the sake of time. I got a couple months left until I leave this institution for some real education. I hope this was helpful to someone (because I never had the luxury of this info). Thanks for giving a place to vent my 4 years of academic oppression. Good luck to you and you children. God bless A.C. |
| 9/14/2004 | former student | I attended Edison for 2 years & it was by far the best school I have ever attended. |
| 8/22/2003 | parent | My daughter is going into her second year at Edison and she loves it there. She came from a Christian school and says for the most part Edison has a family atmosphere and is smaller in size than surrounding schools. |
| 8/13/2003 | former student | Edison is a great school for anybody who want to great a great education. With all the wireless tecnology and laptops, to being a small school with a family atmosphere, Edison has all the private school like ways just with a better price.Edison's motto is Ging Ho, and that is what every one feels about this school. I am proud to be a graduate of that school. |
