Dr Jones and Mr Lewter are terrific Principals, the staff and Nurse are involved and respectful, I can not say enough good things about this school. My daughter started Kindergarten here and is now doing an awesome job in High School, she had a great foundation laid for her here. |

| 1/20/2010 | parent | As a parent that has two children that attend DCCE I would have to disagree about the 'Greeter' she is their to make sure visitors are going where they should and to make sure the children are safe. Its not Walmart the job isnt a Greeter but rather Security. I have been very pleased thus far with everyone on the staff. |

| 11/11/2008 | parent | We moved from Va Beach last year and are very happy with DCCE thus far. My daughter enjoys the school, and I am at total ease while she is attending. The teachers are very thorough and caring, and the school nurse is very friendly to deal with. The only negative thing I can mention are the school's greeter that sits beside the office in the hallway...she is not very friendly and as the gatekeeper and first point of contact for a visitor entering the school, she should be very personable and inviting in her attitude. The two times that I have been there to bring my daughter to school I have had to initiate the 'Good Morning' greeting with her. And I noticed the same mannerisms were displayed to other parents that were coming in behind me. Just an observation and suggestion for improvement. Other than that, we are thoroughly enjoying! |

She has a Developmental Delay and since she began her education here she has shown so much improvement. I love the teachers and the principal, Mr. Lane. The special ed teachers and assistants go above and beyond. I love them! |

The gifted program is amazing, the faculty is friendly,and the atmosphere for my daughter has been very positive! I'm going to miss the teachers and faculty when my child moves on to middle school. |

The principal and assistant principal have both been at the school for many years and they make sure that things are run very smoothly. In general, the quality of teachers is very high. The PTA has many activities for students throughout the year, and parental involvement is very high at this school. |

We were all able to be involved in the PTA and other family activties while my child was enrolled there. I would and have recommended this school to other people who were thinking of moving to the area. Deep Creek central is one of the reasons why this is a great place to live. |
