Excellent administration and many excellent teachers. There is a broad range of extra curricular activities that are offered and the SACC program is superb. I am pleased to send my child to Sleepy Hollow. |

The teachers are caring, and there's a good mix of experienced and newer teachers. There are many school activities and traditions that make the place a real community. Our family has been at the school 8+ years, and many of the teachers and staff have been there the entire time. We love Sleepy Hollow! |

But, I agree that there is a downside for above-average students, who can suffer from a lack of attention or challenge. The school focuses the bulk of its resources on leaving no child behind, instead of advancing the achievement of students working at or above grade level. Also, the PTA works hard to offer activities, but it suffers from a lack of parent participation, with very low turn-out for most meetings. |
