| 1/31/2011 | parent | This school is an excellent school for both my son and daughter. My son has been an honor roll student, and he and my daughter love her teachers. Ms. Alexander is an awesome principal. |
| 3/27/2008 | parent | this school is excellent! I attended it when I was very young! Excellent teachers and programs! My daughter goes their now and loves her kindergarten teacher |
| 8/27/2005 | parent | We have twin daughters in the 1st grade who love the teachers and faculty. The school building appears to be in great shape. High level of parental involvement and extracurricular activities. Art, PE, & music are fully integrated into the curriculum: 3 days per week. |
| 3/3/2005 | parent | Both of my children have come through the NSES system. I have been extremely happy with the quality of the administration, the teachers, and the active parents. I have never encountered any issues with overly stringent 'behavior modification.' Like any school system, some teachers are more very active and engaging than others. I would strongly suggest attending the PTA meetings to learn more from the parents and administration. Also, the grade level teachers rotate through the PTA meetings giving the parents a change to speak more frankly and directly to the teachers. We have also loved the diversity represented in this school and the events held to celebrate this diversity. |
| 9/30/2004 | parent | My son will be going to North Springfield Elementary school next year for kindergarten. I would like to know more from previous parent as to 'behaviour modification tools a bit too stringent'. If you read this, please elaborate as to what behaviour modification tools they use and what exactly is too stingent? Thanks in advance. I emailed the principal asking about registration, she answered my email right away. So that's very responsive and a good first sign for me. |
| 9/18/2004 | former student | As a former student of NSE, I just wanted to say that it was a great school! I had awesome teachers and I am now a teacher in the southeast. Mrs. Sylvester, Mrs. Kreber only to name a couple. Go Beavers! |
| 12/27/2003 | parent | As a first year parent, I am finding some of the behaviour modification tools a bit too stingent, but otherwise the lot of teachers and staff seem to be interested in what is happening to the student body. |
