My son went to a special needs school prior to this one, and then was mainstreamed here. I could not asked for a better school for him to be placed. Not to mention it is new and clean! |

Teachers devote their time after school to help tutor children and they interact with parents very often. EXCELLENT SCHOOL! |
| 12/13/2010 | parent | I don't feel that the "3" rating for this school is in anyway indicative of the quality of this school. First, it's a brand new school, opened in 2008. My child began kindergarten there in 2009 and I have absolutely no complaints and much high praise. The teachers are wonderful, most rooms have aids. The classrooms and building are well-laid out. The staff is kind and helpful and supportive. Hillpoint also has a strong PTA. Having made comparisons with other parents, this is one of the best public elementary schools in the area, perhaps one of the best public or private. |

The staff is like a family working together for the best interest of our students. We share ideas to improve the educational experience of our students, work together to be sure ALL students are reaching their potential, as well as supporting each other through good times and bad. I highly recommend Driver Elementary to anyone considering a move to Suffolk! |
