The front office staff are friendly, caring and have a servants attitude. The principal, assistant principal, librarians, read specialist, and counseling staff are all ranked outstanding in our book of rankings. The cafeteria manager is friendly, caring and works well with the parents. We will be moving this year to another state, not because we are military, but because of new adventerous chapters in our lives. We can honestly say, NEW CASTLE will be the school that we compare all other schools to. We love you NCES and will miss each and everyone of you! Most success and blessings to all of you and it is with a heart of gratitude we thank you for all you have done in our child's life. It has been all positive. |

| 8/3/2006 | parent | New Castle Elementary has every ingredient making it the perfect school. The administrative staff, teachers, assistants, cafeteria personell and the custodians are wonderful. Every person working and volunteering at New Castle work in almost a magical harmony making it an excellent environment for any child. Every teacher is committed to making sure every child is learning the material. They use many teaching methods and are always open to trying new things. They are on the 'cutting edge' of education. They also offer a quarterly program called 'Future Dragons' for the younger children exposing them to the school environment so it won't be as intimidating when it's their time to enroll. Their PTA is at 100% and I'd venture to guess atleast 75-80% are highly active within the school. I've been so impressed that I continue to drive my children out of zone daily so they can enjoy school at New Castle. |
| 4/24/2005 | parent | This is a wonderful school with wonderful staff. The principals, teachers, and guidance counselors have worked to bring my child a long with with his issues. I can't say that my children have ever been in a school before where the staff genuinely care about the children's well being. Parent involvement is very high and this can be attributed to the level of comfort New Castle staff allow parents to feel. Programs are excellent. My son at 6 years old is doing things proficiently that I thought were too advanced for him. Excellent teachers, excellent staff. They care about your childs success. |
