| 10/28/2009 | parent | We are a military family and this is the best school that my children have attended. Excellent push to prepare students for the next grade in organization skills, studying and just overall academics. They have a lot of afterschool clubs for the children as well which are very positive: Drug-free Club, Battle of the Books and many more. Excellent school. |
| 10/1/2008 | parent | I love this school. I have three children two of which have Aspergers syndrome and the teachers are all great. the teacers work with the parents and the aids are also very helpful. |
| 9/27/2007 | parent | My son just started fourth grade at Tabb and already I can see the difference. The teachers are caring and conscientious. They communicate with parents regularly and don't sweat the small stuff. They hold children accountable in creative ways and don't just teach to the standardized tests. Even the after-school program is awesome with extremely professional counselors. We are fortunate to be a part of the Tabb family. |
| 3/10/2007 | parent | Three of my four children went to tabb for the last 11 years. All three miss Tabb and my son is making a life decision on being a teacher because of two third grade teachers he absolutely loved. She made such a impact on him. He had team teaching in third grade as did my two girls with the same set of teachers. The students at Tabb are the number one priority. There are teachers who are there til late to make sure no child goes without. The cafeteria and janitorial staff are also wonderful there. The resource teachers keep it exciteing for the children as well.We miss Tabb and I wish my youngest could go there when she is old enough because I know she would get the best education possible. I highly recommend Tabb for every child it is a safe and nice place to learn as well as fun. |
| 10/15/2006 | parent | Tabb Tigers are the best. My daughter went there for 3 years and my oldest son was in the pk class for 1 year. I cant say enough about the pk program, my son progressed so rapidly through the year thanks to Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Bergeron, and Cathy Cook. Kudos to the Assistant Principal as well, Ms. Smith, she makes you feel like she has known you and your children all of your life. Excellent after school activites as well. Great Parent involvement as well! We have moved and miss the Tiger Team very much! |
| 4/7/2006 | parent | Tabb Teachers are awesome! The only problem I had was feeling 'bullied' by some staff members, to label my child with an 'education delay'. I feel they toss around labels too quickly for extra funding. However, I couldn't ask for better teachers. They are very loving and keep you informed. The school is set in a very nice and safe neighborhood, they have a very nice play ground. Awesome music program as well as very good after school clubs. |
| 8/29/2005 | parent | My son went to school there for the 04-05 year. He was in a PK special ed class. Which is awesome. They worked wonders for my son. Whom had speach delay & many other delays. He is now in K at another school because we had to move. There academic requirements are so much higher & better than the school he is at now. We miss Tabb alot. Tabb elementary is an awesome school with awesome teachers. Thanks to M. Brown & L. Berguron!!! |
