Austell, GA is a small city located in Cobb County just outside of Atlanta. Although the population of Austell is relatively small, the city still offers many transportation options for its residents and visitors. Public transportation in Austell includes metro buses and CobbLinc buses. Metro bus service operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm with routes that go throughout the southwest side of Atlanta and as far as Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. CobbLinc buses offer service to various surrounding counties including but not limited to Douglas, Paulding, Cherokee, Fulton and Bartow. The schedule for these buses varies depending on the route but generally runs from 5:30am to 11:30pm daily. It is also possible to use MARTA rail services from downtown Atlanta to reach Austell by transferring at Hamilton E Holmes Station onto a metro bus route that goes to Austell. For those without access to public transportation, taxis are available throughout the city as well as a few local ride-sharing companies like UBER and Lyft.
