Boise, Idaho is a vibrant and growing city with a wide range of transportation options available. The Boise Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (BMPO) provides an extensive public transit system that includes buses and shuttles. A bus rapid transit line is planned for downtown Boise and its surrounding areas. Bike lanes have been added to many streets in recent years and there are plenty of trails for pedestrians and cyclists. In addition, Boise is served by the Boise Airport providing access to domestic flights across the United States. No matter what type of transportation one prefers, they have plenty of options when it comes to getting around Boise!
